Online Teaching Materials (MDX)

Online Teaching Materials (MDX) is a cooperative repository for the dissemination of digital resources and materials resulting from the activitiy of participating universities. The objective is to give visibility to these teaching materials, contributing to educational innovation and open access. 

The benefits of the MDX

• It facilitates the management of teaching materials produced in universities, integrating and organizing them into a common server. 
• It offers the academic staff of the participating universities a resource server that allows the materials produced to be filed and subsequently retrieved.
• It provides users with permanent, simple and fast access to the teaching production of member organizations.
• MDX adds value to the materials collected through elements such as the permanent address, standardised citations or consultation data.
• It establishes and applies preservation mechanisms in order to ensure the durability of the materials.
• It encourages the publishing and editing of teaching materials in electronic formats.
