Join the BDC!

Most of the electronic information resources from the Digital Library of Catalonia (BDC) are business related and their access is being regulated by a contract or license of use that stipulates which are the permitted users and uses. 

These licenses are negotiated and established between the CSUC and the supplier, following the international praxis on consortium hiring as well as taking into account the number and features of the participant institutions in that agreement. 

Initially, the scope of action of the CSUC is the Catalan university research and teaching, although the inclusion of other types of institutions can be assessed.

If your institution is interested in having access to the BDC's electronic payment resources, please contact us and:

• Sign an agreement or order management with CSUC (as appropriate).
• Make the corresponding financial contribution.
• Respect the terms and conditions of the contracts signed by CSUC with its suppliers.

By participating in the BDC you will save money on your subscriptions, as well as we will give you support and training whenever necessary.

We will be the interlocutors with the suppliers in case of any technical incident.
